After two years of successful screenings from the Royal Opera House, Wharf Green will this year host one of the world's most famous opera's - Carmen. Live entertainment precedes the event before the curtain rises at 6.45pm. Don’t miss the magic and excitement of this open air event - bring friends
and a picnic or buy food and drink in the enclosure. Entry is free but you will need to register for tickets.

Sex, crime and murder in Seville - gypsy girl Carmen plays a dangerous game of seduction and betrayal. After an ardent love-affair with army corporal Don José, the gypsy girl abandons him for her new conquest, bull-fighter Escamillo.
