About
The idea:

Things are pretty gloomy out there – we in Swindon are doing what we can to bring our main shopping areas back to life.  Empty shops have become a major problem in towns and cities across the country following the economic downturn. Working with local design agency Wow, a window dressing concept was developed which will create an interesting, vibrant and fun look to the empty units.  It will also help owners and agents attract new occupiers and provide an overall impression of a well managed town centre.  The regeneration of the town centre is moving forward, as with all major developments these plans will take time, please click here to read more.

Sponsorship:

The New Swindon Company and inSwindon have been working closely together to improve empty shop units in the town centre. The project is jointly funded by The New Swindon Company, inSwindon and the South West Regional Development Agency, with support from Swindon Borough Council.
